NATAL CHART ALTAR PIECES
Altar pieces are a collaboration between myself and your natal chart. Each is a meditation with the planets as they were at the time of your birth and an expression of that through me into the clay.
I am very intentional about how I create these. The process is a ritual in itself from the physical space I work within, to the music that’s playing as I carve, to each glaze combination in the end and what potential feeling I think it might evoke after the fire. Each one is a bit of mystery to me until they come out of the kiln, which is its own perfect metaphor for a birth chart.
Astrological glyphs reflecting your personal chart are carved into the piece along with your birth date and time into the bottom. Each piece reflects all aspects of the chart as I experience it.
These are essentially a natal reading within an object that you can keep with you for a lifetime and even pass down through generations.

These bespoke custom offerings designed with you in mind are slow grown. From start to finish it takes about 4+ weeks to get through the whole process of creation from building to carving to drying to firing to glazing to firing again and then another 7-10 days for shipping. If you are purchasing a combo of the Astrology Session and altar piece—the start of that process and time frame does not begin until after we have had our session.
I do not always have access to the ceramic studio which is why I have a custom order form versus direct purchase option at this time. This means the time frame to completion will be longer. I so appreciate your patience and trust that all the best things in life are worth the wait.

Based on The Star card in Tarot, this set has all the airy and watery qualities of the water bearer who is associated with the sign of Aquarius in astrology.
All the stars and the water around the smaller bowl were hand carved around so they protrude from the dish giving it an embossed effect.

Alchemy Bowls
Created pinch pot style, slowly spiraling out from base to rim until a shape is formed, mirroring the way our patterns support our evolution when we tune in with awareness to each slight variation around the circle.
The bottom of the bowls were varnished, a long process of smoothing and compressing the clay, using 2 of my favorite stone beings found on Riis beach in NYC and finished off with a labradorite palm stone infusing and charging the bowls with its energy.
